Hospital Overview

The First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, also known as Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Hospital or the First Clinical Medical College of Jinan University, is an affiliated hospital of Jinan University, which is the national "211 Project" of key comprehensive university directly under the guidance of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of State Council. It is also an AAA public general hospital for medical treatment, medical training, scientific research, disease prevention, health care, and rehabilitation service. The First Affiliated Hospital has received many entitlements, such as “First-class Hospital at Grade III”, “Baby Friendly Hospital”, “International SOS Assistance Hospital”, “Guangdong Cultural Advanced Hospital”, “Behavior Satisfactory Medical Units”, “Advanced National Overseas Chinese Enterprise”, “Highest AAA Credit Grade Hospital among Guangzhou Social Security Designated Medical Institutes” and “National Excellent Hospital of High Quality Nursing care Service”. From 2010 to 2014, the First Affiliated Hospital has been continuously awarded “Top Ten Hospital in Guangzhou” in the China Health Annual Review.
